1. Introduction

Liftzy ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Liftzy mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and handle information when you use the App.

By creating an account and using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide the App's features:

• Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if provided, a display name. Authentication is handled through secure third-party services (such as email/password, Apple Sign-In, or Google Sign-In).
• Fitness and workout data: We store the workout plans and session records you create inside the App, including exercises, sets, repetitions, weights, and durations.
• Onboarding information: If you complete the optional onboarding flow, we may store basic profile information you provide, such as age, height, weight, sex, and fitness goals.
• Body measurements: Measurements you enter manually and estimated measurements produced by the optional Body Scan feature (such as chest, waist, hips, shoulder width, and arm size), together with the date of each entry, so you can track progress over time.
• Apple Health data (optional): If you connect Apple Health, the App reads health and workout data such as steps, active energy, heart rate, resting heart rate, heart-rate variability, sleep, body composition, and recorded workouts, to calculate recovery and readiness and to enrich your logged sessions.

We do not collect device identifiers, precise location data, contacts, or any data unrelated to the fitness functionality of the App.

3. Camera and Body Scan Photos

The optional Body Scan feature uses your device camera to take four photos so the App can estimate your body measurements. These photos are processed on your device and are deleted immediately after your measurements are calculated. We never store your body photos, never upload them to our servers, and never share them with anyone. Only the resulting calculated measurements are saved to your account. The camera is accessed only while you are actively performing a scan, and only after you acknowledge how the feature works.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App's features.
• Associate your workout data, body measurements, and progress with your account so it persists across devices and sessions.
• Calculate insights such as recovery, readiness, and estimated body measurements.
• Allow you to view your history and track progress over time.

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to operating the App.

5. Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except as follows:

• Infrastructure providers: Your data is stored using Firebase (Google), which provides our database and authentication services. Firebase processes data on our behalf and is subject to Google's privacy commitments.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request.

Apple Health data is read on your device; we do not transmit it to our servers except where a calculated result (for example, the average heart rate for a session) is saved as part of your fitness records.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Your account and associated data are retained for as long as you maintain your account.

You can delete your account at any time from within the App. Go to the Profile tab, scroll to the Account section, and tap Delete Account. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile and all associated workout and measurement data. You can also delete an individual body scan, or all of your scan data, from the Body section.

7. Children

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. Your Choices

You may update or correct your account information at any time within the App. You may delete your account as described in Section 6. You can revoke camera access or disconnect Apple Health at any time in your device's Settings. If you have questions about your data, you can contact us at the address below.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
